HUMBLE BEGINNINGS
TSOTSOMANE was founded in 1996 as RDO CONSTRUCTION. The company started doing alterations and grew to constructing residential, commercial and industrial buildings. In 2005 RDO CONSTRUCTION established TSOTSOMANE CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS a subsidiary that was focused on civil engineering projects. In 2021 RDO CONSTRUCTION and TSOTSOMANE CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS consolidated into one company with the aim of focusing all its expertise in building one company with full project lifecycle capabilities across construction and civil engineering projects.
Today the management team of TSOTSOMANE has over 100 years combined construction experience having done exceptional work for leading companies such as; BidVest, BP, De Beers, SAPOR, INTAPROP, Jindal Mining and JSPL MOZAMBIQUE MINERALS just to mention a few, completing industrial, infrastructure (oil and mining), commercial and residential builds in South Africa, Angola and Mozambique.
